Welcome to 2016

I can't believe that 2016 is already upon us.....this time last year i'd just started on my idea for running creative workshops giving myself nearly nine whole months to prepare and to start in September.  I won't pretend it was easy - preparing the rooms themselves was a gargantuan task as it meant a complete refurbishment of the shop and home to accommodate my plans.  In addition to this i needed to contact artists and book them, much more difficult when you don't actually have a space as such to show them where they'll be working. But last years artists came through admirably and

This year i have plans to change a few things and there will be things available for sale.  In collaboration with the Gav (hubby) in the Indigo Moon Shop, and after many requests, we will be selling small items such as antique/vintage sewing/cotton  boxes, textiles etc), 'kits' in line with workshops such as fabrics, boxes, papers etc and much more (this will not affect the normal supplies available freely to participants, just the more expensive rarer fabrics and such).  Additionally, as i have had so many requests from participants to purchase the artwork in the workshop area (this being my own collection and unable to sell) there will also be various artists works for sale and exhibitions.

Workshops for 2016 currently confirmed are:

Ali Ferguson - Patchwood Samplers - 23rd July, 2016

Now for some photos of fabric samples that i will soon be making into kits,
